I have not had to run my boiler on a generator. I was just trying to be prepared if I did. I hear that the newer boiler and furnaces with more and more electronics, boards etc may not like the power from a regular generator. Maybe it will be fine. If I had something that didn't need batteries to keep charged like a UPS that would be best.
